Three-Year-Old Filly Winners in February
Rock Candy Wins Second; Evita Argentina Beats Boys in San Vicente

It was Candyland time for three-year-old fillies in February. Rock Candy got her second win of the young female Thoroughbred season, and Evita Argentina, a Candy Ride (ARG) daughter, took on the colts in the seven-furlong San Vicente Stakes and won by a length. In addition, Candy Ride's boy, Chocolate Candy, won the El Camino Real Derby February 14 at Golden Gate Fields.
What A Pear won twice in February, taking the February 1 Wistful Stakes and reappearing on February 22 to win the Busher at Aqueduct. She is an E Dubai--Perfect Pear, by Pine Bluff offspring.
The rock solid pedigree of Rock Candy got her to the wire for the second time this year on February 14. The Mineshaft--Party Chatter, by Pleasant Colony three-year-old found her place in the sun in the Suncoast Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.
