Several top candidates and champion Thoroughbreds may win 2007 awards in American racing as well as in Canada, which named its award winners in December. America's Eclipse Awards ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 21 at the Beverly Whilshire Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Among possible duplicate award winners are Tyler Pizarro for Outstanding Apprentice Jockey, winner in Canada and candidate in America; Kodiak Kowboy, Champion Two-Year-Old Colt in Canada and candidate in America; and Frank Stronach's Adena Springs stables, winner in Canada and candidate in America for Outstanding Owner and Breeder.
